Company set to provide quality, cost-effective healthcare to its employees and their families
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – LP Building Solutions (LP), a leading manufacturer of high-performance building products, will hold a ribbon cutting event for the opening of its new CareHere eHealth Center in Thomasville, Alabama on Dec. 15 from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. CT. The new facility will be dedicated to providing access to primary and preventive healthcare exclusively to LP’s 211 employees and any dependents, ages 2 and up covered by the company’s health plan.
Since building its facility in 2008, LP has been a well-known employer in the Thomasville community. The company has long recognized that the health and well-being of its employees helps the company to succeed. Because of this, LP is dedicated to providing industry-leading benefits for employees, such as this new and innovative health center as well as paid time off, paid parental and adoption leave, and comprehensive health and wellness programs for its families. LP’s Employee Assistance Program also offers a multitude of complimentary services and mental health programs.
The Thomasville eHealth Center will provide local LP employees and their families access to primary care services at no or very low cost, including generic medications.
“We are excited to offer this new resource for our employees at the LP Clarke County facility,” said LP Benefits Manager Kristin Bacon. “By having a dedicated healthcare facility exclusively for our local employees, we hope to give them greater access to health resources at even greater prices. This will be an invaluable opportunity for us to care for the health and safety of our employees both on and off the job.”
The new CareHere eHealth Center is the launch of a collaborative partnership by LP and CareHere, an on-site industry pioneer that is now part of leading direct healthcare company Premise Health. CareHere’s innovative model has a proven track record of significantly improving the health of patients while reducing the overall healthcare spend for both patients and their employers. Serious conditions are uncovered and addressed, emerging issues identified early and treated effectively – all while helping team members avoid expensive deductibles, co-pays and medication costs through the CareHere Health and Wellness Centers.
“We are excited to partner with CareHere to provide eHealth Centers dedicated to our employee population,” Bacon continued. “With our LP Clarke County and LP Nashville facilities now operational, we hope to continue to expand this benefit to our other LP locations across the U.S.”
“CareHere is honored to have been chosen by LP as its partner in providing employees with quality, cost-effective healthcare,” said CareHere Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer Ben Baker. “Our providers and wellness coaches are committed to the care of each of our patients by spending quality time with them in order to provide the optimal service with enthusiasm and compassion.”
The CareHere eHealth Center is located 7 miles from LP’s facility at 32850 Highway 43 North, Unit C, Thomasville, AL 36784.
The official ribbon cutting ceremony and grand opening will be held on Dec. 15 from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. CT. This event will be held outdoors and include speeches from LP leaders and CareHere representatives, snacks, and tours of the new eHealth Center. Face masks and social distancing will be required. Members of the media are welcome to attend. LP Clarke County Head of Human Resources Sundy Phares will be available for interviews.
